Six packs, no accessories, no fuss — that's the Booster Bundle's pitch, and for plenty of UK collectors it's exactly the right one. The Bundle is the lowest-friction way to crack into Pitch Black without committing to an ETB or a full Booster Box. At RRP it usually lands around £25, which puts your per-pack cost a touch lower than buying singles and a fair bit lower than the ETB equivalent.
The set itself features Mega Darkrai ex on the cover, with Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex rounding out the Mega Pokémon roster. With a smaller card pool than recent expansions — just over 115 cards — pulls feel weighted; every ultra rare hit in a Bundle session counts for more.
Bundles tend to be the easiest Pitch Black product to find on UK shelves at launch. Argos and Smyths both stock them, and the specialists (Chaos Cards, Total Cards, Magic Madhouse) usually have steady stock and occasionally undercut RRP. If you're planning to open packs purely for the cards rather than to display sealed product, the Bundle is the right pick. Hold the ETBs and Booster Boxes for the collectors.
That said, six packs is a small slice of any modern set. If you're chasing a specific Special Illustration Rare from Pitch Black, factor in the secondary singles market — opening multiple Bundles to try and pull a specific card almost always costs more than just buying it.
