About this product

Eleven packs instead of nine, with the same 65 card sleeves, basic Energy cards and dice as the standard box. On a 218-card set the two extra packs are worth having, though not at any price, and Pokémon Center boxes are allocated rather than freely stocked in the UK so they tend to attract a premium above the standard edition. The set is a good one to open. Its seven ACE SPEC cards were the first printing of that mechanic since the Black & White era and the first to appear on Trainer cards, which gave the set genuine competitive pull, and the Paradox ex cards Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, Iron Leaves and Iron Crown carry the collecting side. Released 22 March 2024. Price it against a standard box plus two loose packs, which is usually the cheaper route to the same thing.
