Checklane blisters are the format that hangs by the tills, stocked through supermarkets and high street chains rather than card shops, and that changes how you find them. Availability tends to be patchy and regional, and the specialist retailers we sweep below usually take them in job lots rather than carrying them steadily. The set behind it is one of the better Scarlet & Violet releases to open: 191 cards in the main set, 252 once secret rares are counted, and a Stellar Tera Pikachu ex as the headline pull. Latias ex out of the same set went on to see heavy competitive play, so interest here has not been purely from collectors. The premium version of the blister is the one carrying a foil promo card, which is what separates it from the plain checklane. Surging Sparks reached the UK on 8 November 2024.
